Founded by Andy Pintus, Blue Mountain K-9 is the result of 15+ years of professional dog training and a career in law enforcement. That unique combination of discipline, patience, and genuine love for dogs is what sets us apart.
Our facility features large outdoor fields, indoor training and play spaces, and a safe alternative area for smaller dogs. We're not just a kennel

What areas do you serve? We're located in Morgantown, WV and serve all of North Central WV - including Fairmont, Clarksburg, Bridgeport, and the greater Mon County region, extending into Pennsylvanian and Maryland. Many clients travel up to 2 hours to reach us.
Do I need an evaluation before starting training? Yes. Every training journey starts with an in-person evaluation. We assess your dog's temperament, behavior, and your goals to recommend the best program. Contact us to schedule yours.
What ages and breeds do you work with? We work with all breeds and sizes, from 16-week-old puppies to dogs 7-8 years old. Whether you have a tiny terrier or a large working breed, we have a program for you.
What are your hours? Boarding & Daycare: Mon-Fri 6 AM – 9 PM, Weekends 8 AM – 1 PM & 3 PM – 7 PM. Training: Tue-Fri 1 PM – 9 PM, Sat 9 AM – 5 PM. Grooming hours vary by appointment.
How long does board and train take? Our Family Dog Plan is 4 weeks for core obedience ($2,500). Add-ons include E-collar training (+2 weeks, +$1,200) and advanced heeling (+2 weeks, +$1,000). We'll discuss the best plan during your evaluation.
Do you offer AKC certifications? Yes! We're an AKC-certified evaluator offering both AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certifications — nationally recognized standards for well-trained dogs.
